The CASE Awards, JA’s national design competition for jewelry retailers, recognizes JA Retail Members who exhibit creativity, artistry, style and excellence in jewelry design. The winning entries will be on display at Jewelers of America’s booth #1072 at the JA New York Show, March 11-13, at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC.

New York, NY – Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, and Diamond Council of America (DCA), a nationally accredited school that offers jewelers the opportunity to earn professional certifications in diamonds, colored gemstones, and fine jewelry sales through distance education, have opened the 2018 enrollment period for its scholarship program. The program is open to employees of JA and DCA Member companies and awards scholarships to individuals on renowned industry diploma, professional development and certification programs. JA has awarded more than $150,000 over the past five years to JA members to use for their industry education.

The 2018 inductees are Dror Zadok of Zadok Jewelers, Houston, TX; Cathy Tivol of Tivol, Kansas City, MO and Pam Mortensen of J.C. Penney. National Jeweler will be releasing the digital edition of the publication and mailing over 8,000 copies of the print edition in May.
