Jewelers of America (JA) and the American Gem Society (AGS) are launching a consumer holiday campaign, "My Jewelry Wish List," to promote jewelry sales this season. The campaign will run through social media, email blasts, TV and radio spots -- and retailers can tie-in to the campaign on their own marketing channels!

The organizations have created a toolkit for members featuring website and social media templates, how-to guides, sample posts, and will feature a digital “Wish Book” spotlighting both AGS and JA member jewelry. 

The campaign was designed to promote early jewelry sales and drive consumers to member stores for holiday gifting. The campaign will launch on October 26 and continue through the holiday season. Both JA and AGS will be promoting all parts of the campaign through social media, Google ads, emails to our consumer subscribers, jewelry industry influencers and special local market segments for TV and radio.

How to Get Involved


Retailers 

1) Download the Toolkit (.zip file) that includes materials for the "My Jewelry Wish List" campaign:
  • Tip Sheet, containing the "need-to-know" about the campaign and how to use the materials 
  • "My Jewelry Wish List"  and "My Jewelry Gift List" templates for consumers 
    • PDFs with area for your logo and store information at the bottom
  • List of hashtags to use with the campaign
  • Social Media graphics 
    • "My Jewelry Wish List" logo
    • "My Jewelry Wish List" grid
      • add photos and share your own jewelry wish list
    • "Come In and Build Your Wish List"
      • one generic, one customizable
    • Product Categories (for holiday trends)

2) Use graphics from the Tool Kit in your own marketing channels

3) Follow @jewelersofamerica and @americangemsociety on Instagram and share campaign posts -- including how to enter two sweepstakes where four winners will be selected to win a $500 gift card to the JA or AGS member store of their choice!

Suppliers 

Supplier members can also promote the Holiday Campaign on your social media to encourage gifting jewelry. Also, if you submitted jewelry images for the Holiday Campaign, they may be featured on our Holiday Gift Guide.

Yes! Take photos of your custom jewelry, jewelry from product lines you sell, or images of jewelry you use in your social media. We recommend that you always tag the designer or supplier. Not only is it a courtesy to their brand, but it helps them engage with you.
Absolutely! We recommend that you use the campaign to draw people in the store to create their own wish list, or have a “My Jewelry Wish List” event: they can post photos of your jewelry with #MyJewelryWishList and tag @americangemsociety and @jewelersofamerica, as well as your store. Feel free to have your own drawing.
You will find material in the Retailer Toolkit. Print it off and customize it as you wish. We have a Jewelry Wish List and My Jewelry Gift List that you can download and print.
Instagram: contest runs from Monday, October 26 at 12:00 p.m. EDT to Monday, November 30 at 12:00 p.m. EST. 

Website: the website sweepstakes begin on Tuesday, December 1 at 12:00 p.m. EST and ends December 15, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. EST.
We’ll pick one winner randomly using a platform that allows for random selection. We will announce it on Instagram.
