New York, NY, March 19, 2010 – Jewelers of America (JA) has announced the winners of its 20th Annual Design Competition, held during the JA New York Winter Show, February 28-March 2. Designers from Minnesota, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas took home the prizes in four categories (based on the cost of materials used): $1,000 and under; $1,001-$3,000; $3,001 and over; and a Buyer’s Choice Award.

New York, NY, March 2, 2010 – Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry retail marketplace, has announced that scholarships are available for its nationally recognized Bench Professional Certification program. The scholarships are provided through the generous sponsorship of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, an industry partner of JA. The Jewelers Mutual Bench Professional Certification Scholarship funds approximately 80% of the exam materials fees, which can save applicants several hundred to thousands of dollars.
