Amanda J. Gizzi is Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Jewelers of America. With over 20 years of industry experience, Gizzi brings a deep passion and unwavering commitment to advancing the jewelry profession. She is a nationally recognized spokesperson who actively promotes the jewelry industry and JA members nationally.
Gizzi oversees the organization’s external affairs, including strategic communications, public relations, government affairs, advocacy, industry partnerships, events, and education.
Amanda Gizzi is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Jewelers of America (JA), a nonprofit trade association serving the fine jewelry retail industry. A nationally recognized jewelry expert and industry spokesperson, Gizzi’s comprehensive public relations and media expertise has solidified her as a go-to expert for media professionals.
Gizzi is an authority on fine jewelry and appears regularly on television, radio and podcasts showcasing the latest trends and providing consumers with fine jewelry and watch education. She also works directly with leading editors, writers and reporters to place fine jewelry and jewelry stories on a regular basis.
Outside of her extensive public relations and media work, Gizzi manages all special events for Jewelers of America, including GEM Awards – the fine jewelry industry’s premier awards gala. She authors a bi-weekly column “Amanda’s Style File” for National Jeweler and contributes time to Jewelers of Children.
Gizzi holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from St. John’s University where she graduated cum laude. At St. John’s University, she was also a Big East Academic All American, the captain of the Division One volleyball program, and a member of The President’s Society. She a Past President of the Women’s Jewelry Association Metropolitan Chapter, a recipient of the WJA Awards for Excellence and is a member New York Jewelers Association.
