Jack London said, “You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.” Sadly, many of us don’t always adhere to this advice, preferring to be passive or simply not noticing the obvious. We often take for granted the world’s magnificent colors, shapes, and textures.
Sometimes, though, when we do “stop and smell the roses,” we’re blown away by the impressions they leave. When that happens to designers, they try to capture those fleeting moments of inspiration in their creations. Eight jewelry artists agreed to share the stories behind their designs. Find out what moves them and how they incorporate that stimulation in their work.
