JA members uphold the highest industry ethics and standards
Jewelers of America requires its members – jewelry retailers and suppliers across the supply chain – to commit annually to the following professional practices for their day-to-day business operations as a condition of membership.
An annual commitment to high ethical practices ensures confidence in buying fine jewelry and sets the standard for the industry at-large.
JA members commit to the Code of Professional Practices at the time of their yearly renewal, endorsing the standards in theory and practice. This Code is consistent with the principles of the Responsible Jewellery Council, which was co-founded by Jewelers of America in 2005.
