Jewelers of America Political Action Committee
JAPAC supports the fine jewelry industry in D.C.
JAPAC isn’t just about politics, its about business. Get involved in the PAC and contribute to help us continue our efforts on Capitol Hill.

Jewelers of America’s Political Action Committee, JAPAC, is the only PAC that supports the fine jewelry industry in Washington, D.C. Through JAPAC, individual Jewelers of America members can join with other jewelry businesses in contributing to candidates for office at the federal level, who understand the interests of the jewelry industry. As an association, Jewelers of America is not permitted by law to make direct contributions to legislators, so JAPAC was formed as a way for individual members’ collective voices to be heard on Capitol Hill.
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
As the only PAC that supports the fine jewelry industry, Jewelers of America has a special position and strong presence in Washington, D.C. to advocate for the industry’s best interests.
Why Support JAPAC
According to Jewelers Board of Trade, hundreds of jewelry businesses in the United States are shutting their doors each year. Jewelers of America’s Political Action Committee can help ensure that your business not only continues, but thrives. It is through JAPAC that the retail jewelry community creates a position of influence on issues of importance.
Our legislative counsel, Haake & Associates, uses the power of JAPAC to call attention to the interests of jewelry businesses and make our issues known to sympathetic legislators, who can work to introduce or support legislation that benefits our business community and protects your bottom line. JAPAC supports candidates for office who understand the interests of the jewelry industry. Contributions are made without regard to party affiliation.
