Examples of Media Accomplishments from July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016.

Since my arrival to Harper’s BAZAAR in June 2012, Jewelry & Watch editorial coverage has increased 42%--now featuring 16 pages per issue (1.5X more than Town & Country, and 3X more than W Magazine). With my editorial direction, BAZAAR now devotes more pages to the Jewelry & Watch category than any other fashion title.*
*Source: MediaRadar July 2011-June 2012, July 2015-June 2016. Competitive titles include: Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire, Town & Country, Vogue, W

Accomplishments include:
  • Conceptualizing and executing special sections, including The Jewels and The Watches, that run 5 times each year featuring high jewelry and fine watches.
  • Curated artistic jewelry and accessory collaborations featuring talent such as Marilyn Minter, Beth Katleman, William Wegman, Amy Judd, Leonhard Hurzlmeier, and Daniel Arsham.
  • Created native opportunities giving even more prominence to our jewelry and watch advertising partners.
  • Understanding marketplace milestones and how to celebrate them within the BAZAAR editorial voice, such as conceptualizing a feature story with Cartier announcing the renovation and reopening of their iconic mansion.
  • Hosted and participated in a conversation with Van Cleef & Arpels L’Ecole on the History of Jewelry.

From March 2016:
http://www.esquire.com/style/news/g2680/best-risk-taking-watches-from-baselworld-2016/
My first story for Hearst Digital after moving over from print publishing- it holds an important personal significance. A story about risk taking timepieces seemed both prescient and fortuitous. A manifestation of bold creativity and luck ahead!

From April 2016:
http://www.esquire.com/style/g2729/alien-day-watches/
A fun and unexpected story about aliens and watches! Creatively designed timepieces often trigger the wearer’s imagination, and a story inspired by science fiction was a unique way to feature incredible watches and drop some knowledge with fun historical watch trivia.

From May 2016:
http://www.esquire.com/style/news/g2754/geneva-watch-auction/
A look at the top auction results that take place in Geneva each year. Watch history, technical information, and some mind-blowing amounts of money, make for a fascinating look at the tastes and current economic state of the world and an inside look at the top collectors of Haute Horology.
