About the Presenter 

Pamela Fierst-Walsh is U.S. Department of State Senior Advisor for Conflict Minerals and the U.S. representative to the Kimberley Process. In her career, Pamela has focused on critical foreign policy and national security issues, including security and counterterrorism, congressional affairs, atrocities prevention, and humanitarian assistance. She has extensive experience in Africa. In her work on minerals, Pamela routinely engages private sector counterparts on supply chain concerns and obligations under U.S. law. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and the National Defense University’s National War College.
