Pantone 2012 Color of the Year: Pantone had just announced Pantone 17-1463 Tangerine Tango is the 2012 Color of The Year! The tangerine color palate, widely celebrated on the spring/summer fashion runways, is a bold color that works well with every skin tone and will feel fresh for spring and summer. “Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. Luckily, this vibrant hue lends itself beautifully to jewelry! Consider stocking your cases with carnelian, fire opal, orange sapphire and even citrine.
