The JA Learning Center is an orientation and training guide for new sales associates. It is a self-paced, user-friendly and customized employee training course. The centralized system includes an orientation guide for new sales associates, a manager's guide, an activity handbook and two large materials binders. Components work together to create a simple, effective and low-maintenance training system for any jewelry store.

Counter Intelligence is a comprehensive, multimedia (text and video), self-study course, responding to an industry-wide effort to educate jewelry sales associates about communication skills, professionalism, ethics and legal compliance. The Industry Image Task Force, a coalition of 24 major trade organizations including Jewelers of America, developed the program to counter unfair publicity resulting from negative media coverage, causing consumer confusion and skepticism.
This course instructs associates on ways to discuss the difficult issues that can sometimes generate negative publicity if handled improperly. This training program is an excellent way to proactively dilute negative publicity. It is divided into five, interactive modules: What It Means to Be a Jewelry Sales Professional; Communicating Gemstone and Cultured Pearl Enhancement Information; The Facts about Quality Marks and Trademarks; Understanding Laboratory Quality Reports and Jewelry Appraisals; and, Discussing Synthetic and Imitation Gem Materials with Your Customers. This guide promotes the importance of quality craftsmanship and industry skills, a must for any jewelry store.
