Such addresses are added to our private membership database which is used for Jewelers of America membership updates and informational newsletters. THIRD-PARTY PARTNERS
In its ongoing effort to offer members an array of exceptional services and benefits, JA has established strategic partnerships with many outside organizations. JA’s strategic partners may contact you via mail or email unless you choose to opt out. By providing your mailing address and email address to JA you are automatically opted in, giving permission for our third-party partners to contact you. After the initial point of contact, each partner will provide you with the option to opt out of future communications in a clear and simple manner. Opting out of partner communications will not have a bearing on future communications sent to you directly from JA. JA may provide you the opportunity to participate in a contest or a survey on JA's web site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. We are concerned about protecting children's privacy and follow these guidelines:
All JA website users must be 13 years old or older.
JA does not:

We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. By default, every JA member has been assigned a User ID and Password to access the site. Non-members obtain this after registering. Once you have logged in, you can visit “My Account” to change your User ID/password.
- User ID is your seven-digit JA membership ID number (unless you have changed it).
- Password is the first three characters of your Company name, plus your seven-digit member ID (again, unless you have changed it).
(Note: If you have spaces or periods in the first three characters, you will use them in your password. Example, "I. Stein Jewelers (Member ID#xxxxxxx)" default password would look like this "I. xxxxxxx")
- User ID and Password are always case sensitive.

Smith Jewelers (Member ID#0012345) logged in to the website for the first time using the following:
User ID = 0012345
Password = Smi0012345
You can correct factual errors in your information by sending us a request that shows the error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
